Content of oral communications
In this section we will introduce the presentation of clinical trials and experimental research and / or observation in the field of aesthetic medicine and related specialties. In this section, practitioners or researchers, doctors in medicine or PhD students, as well as other physicians employed in medical research teams, are invited to participate.
Oral Communications submission:
Abstracts can be submitted to email@example.com with the summary + name of the author in the title of the message.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 Aug 2018. Summaries will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. The result of the evaluation will be emailed to the person who submitted it by 30 September 2018.
In order to include the papers accepted by the Scientific Committee in the Congress program, at least one of the authors must have registered at the congress validated by paying the participation fee by 30 September.
The papers accepted by the Scientific Committee will be confirmed to the authors by e-mail and will be published in the Summaries of the Conference.
The Scientific Boards has:
· –the right to accept or reject the work received;
· – the right to propose a change in the presentation of the work, obliging to announce it in due time.
Oral communication details
Duration: Each oral communication will last 8 minutes and will be followed by discussions, 2-3 minutes.
Structure: The presentation will have the following structure: Introduction, Objectives (possibly the main objective and secondary objectives), Method, Results, Conclusions.
Content: Only the important data for the issues to be communicated will be displayed in the presentation.
Projection: PowerPoint with few slides (up to 10) will be used, giving the audience enough time to read the exposure and understand what the author communicates.
Declaring conflicts of interest
In accordance with the requirements of the Romanian Association of International Medicines Manufacturers (ARPIM) and with the rules of the Romanian College of Physicians, the use of trade names for medicinal products or company names is not permitted in the summaries given for the event (title and content).
„Art. 16.2. The title of the communication or conference, all educational materials must be free from any commercial bias. Any reference to medicinal products is made only by the international common name (ICC). „
All authors must declare any existing or potential conflicts of interest, including financial, personal or any other nature, with other individuals or organizations that might influence or might be perceived as influencing their work.
